Neck Pain/Tension Headaches

Multiple factors can bring on a tension headache, including stress, inadequate sleep, and poor posture.

The main symptom is pain on both sides of the head that may be associated with muscle pain.

Upper Back/Shoulder Pain (Computer Shoulder)

Common Causes of Upper Back Pain. Strains in the muscles of the upper back pain are one common cause of pain. Poor posture. ... As the head and shoulders hunch forward, more pressure is placed on the spine's bones, discs, muscles, ligaments, and other soft tissues.

Shooting Pain/Numbness Down The Arm (Cervical Radiculopathy)

Cervical Radiculopathy, commonly called a "pinched nerve" occurs when a nerve in the neck is compressed or irritated where it branches away from the spinal cord. This may cause pain that radiates into the shoulder, as well as muscle weakness and numbness that travels down the arm and into the hand.

Lower Back/Hip Pain

Pain is considered chronic once it lasts for more than three months and exceeds the body’s natural healing process. Chronic pain in the low back often involves a disc problem, a joint problem, and/or an irritated nerve root.

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is a condition caused by drastic or sudden increases in mileage, poor foot structure, and inappropriate running shoes, which can overload the plantar fascia (the connective tissue that runs from your heel to the base of your toes), resulting in heel pain.

Jaw and Facial Pain (TMJ)

The most typical symptom of TMJ is difficulty opening your mouth fully due to pain or muscle spasm. Symptoms are usually worsened with chewing hard foods or by opening your mouth wide. Some people with TMJ have difficulty closing their mouth all the way.

Painful or Stiff Movement: Neck, Shoulder, Low-Back, and Hips

A FROZEN SHOULDER is a shoulder joint with significant loss of its range of motion in all directions. The range of motion is limited not only when the patient attempts motion but also when the doctor attempts to move the joint fully while the patient relaxes. A frozen shoulder is medically referred to as adhesive capsulitis.

Musculoskeletal Conditions

Sprain and strain. A sprain is a stretching or tearing of ligaments — the tough bands of fibrous tissue that connect two bones together in your joints. The most common location for a sprain is in your ankle. A strain is a stretching or tearing of muscle or tendon. A tendon is a fibrous cord of tissue that connects muscles to bones.
